Nature Photographers of the world heeded the call for entries, and between July 11 and July 25, nearly 100 marine life photos were submitted to Pacific Whale Foundation's (PWF) fifth annual Whale of a Photo Contest. A panel of judges selected the top 20 entries to advance to the public voting round. Now we need your help to decide the top 12 that will be published in our 2025 Marine Life Calendar!
Beginning August 15, you can donate to vote for your favorite photo in support of PWF's mission. There is no limit on the number of votes allowed per entry. All funds raised directly benefit PWF's Conservation, Outreach, Research and Education programs. The 12 images that raise the most funds will be included in our 2025 Marine Life Calendar. However, the photo with the most votes (donations) will be featured on the cover, including a brief bio highlighting the winning photographer! The cover winner will also receive a free calendar and a one year PWF Guide level membership.
All votes must be cast by 12 pm HST on September 5, so don't delay! With your help, Pacific Whale Foundation can continue its work to protect the ocean through science and advocacy, and inspire environmental stewardship!
